For the meatballs
• 500g minced beef
• 65g GREEK at HOME mixture for Burger Patty “Bifteki”
• 90ml cold water (approximately ½ cup)
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
For the chestnut rice
• 400g chestnut rice
• 1 tablespoon butter
• Salt
• Fresh thyme
For the meatballs
1. In a bowl, place the GREEK at HOME mixture, ½ cup of water (90ml), 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and mix well.
2. Add the minced meat and knead well.
3. Shape the meatballs to the desired size and cook them in a griddle with a little olive oil or in the oven at 180°C. Ensure they remain juicy.
For the chestnut rice
1. In a deep pot, add well-salted water and boil the chestnut rice for 20-25 minutes.
2. Finally, drain the rice, add 1 tablespoon of butter while it’s still hot, and mix.
Serving suggestion
Serve the rice on plates first, place the meatballs on top, and garnish with fresh thyme.
Tip: To make the burgers even juicier, replace 1/3 of the water with freshly grated tomato.
