• 1 whole chicken
• 1 GREEK at HOME cooking sauce for Roast “Melomeno”
• 150g Gruyère cheese, diced
• Fresh thyme
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
2. Place the chicken in a baking dish.
3. Place the cubes of Gruyère cheese in the cavity of the chicken and internally in the thighs.
4. Pour the entire GREEK at HOME cooking sauce over it and spread it well to cover everything.
5. Tie the chicken legs with kitchen twine to prevent the melted Gruyère from leaking.
6. Bake for 60 minutes.
Serving suggestion
Serve the chicken on a plate along with a salad.
Tip: For extra gratinated chicken, sprinkle with hard Gruyère cheese 10 minutes before turning off the oven.
