For the patties
• 1kg minced beef (coarsely ground)
• 130g GREEK at HOME mixture for Burger Patty “Bifteki”
• 180ml water (approximately ¾ cup)
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
For assembly
• 2 tomatoes, sliced
• 60g mustard (about 3 tablespoons)
• 120g mayonnaise (about 8-10 tablespoons)
• Ketchup (optional)
• A few lettuce leaves
• 8-10 slices of cheddar
• 8 burger buns
For the patties
1. In a bowl, place 130g of GREEK at HOME mixture, ¾ cup of water (180ml), 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and mix well. Allow the ingredients to hydrate for 2 minutes.
2. Add the minced meat and knead well.
3. Shape 8 patties (about 150g each) or the size of your preference and grill or pan-fry them.
For assembly
Toast the burger bun. On the base, spread a spoonful of mayonnaise mixed with mustard. Then layer lettuce, tomato, the patty, a slice of cheddar, and close with the bun top, on which you put ketchup.
Serving suggestion
Serve the burger with freshly fried potatoes.
Tip: To make the burgers even juicier, replace 1/3 of the water with freshly grated tomato.
