• 4 chicken thighs (1kg)
• 1 GREEK at HOME cooking sauce for Classic Casserole “Lemonato”
• 500g chickpeas (soaked overnight)
• 100ml olive oil (about 8 tablespoons)
• 300ml water (1 cup)
• A pinch of salt
• A pinch of black pepper
• A bit of fresh oregano
1. Lightly season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Sear them in a wide pot on both sides until they get a golden color.
2. Pour the GREEK at HOME cooking sauce over the chicken thighs, add the chickpeas that have been soaked overnight, water, mix well, cover the pot, and cook as usual.
Serving suggestion
Serve the chickpeas in a deep dish first, place the chicken on top, and garnish with fresh oregano.
